Hello, lovelies!
Man what a year!
Who would have known a year ago from today that everything would turn out as it has in 2020. When I finally finished my Christmas orders, I put down my hook and reflected. March certainly has seemed like an eon ago, because since then I feel like all of society has been thrown into turmoil for different reasons.
I consider myself extremely blessed to have been able to keep my job as a teacher, work safe from home, kept my part-time job at the tavern, and have stayed healthy (unless you count the extra sweets I’ve added to my diet).
Even with my privileged situation, this year has definitely been the hardest I’ve seen. Most people I have talked to about this have shared similar sentiments. Though I’ll be glad to see this year in the rearview mirror and hope that 2021 will be kinder to the world, I can’t deny this year has also had its perks. Mainly, I have felt the proudest about the growth of Blessed & a Mess.
This year, I officially filed for a business license, designed more than 8 patterns, and started selling my finished items as Village Life and Gift Boutique!
I wanted to share a printable I whipped up to help myself organize my thoughts and set some intentions for 2021 with my side hustle. I tried to keep this printable vague so that you could make it work for your side hustle as well.
There is something I find important about writing down the thoughts that I have had about my side hustle this year. It is also really powerful to see my goals written out. It’s like I’m making a commitment. 2021? Be more active on my blog!
I hope everyone has a safe New Year and that you ring in 2021 with some hope as well.
