Hello, lovelies!
I thought it was time to share some of the magic behind my making. I wouldn’t say I have a ritual, but I do love to have some things in my reach when I’m feeling the most creative! The secret?
I have to be comfortable.
And when I say I have to be comfortable, I mean I have to create the coziest ambiance. I’m talking a Hygge atmosphere on steroids. Like bring on the softest and coziest material everywhere.
So whether you are here to look for items to up your “comfortable night in” game, or see what I like the most as I’m making, here are a few of my favorite things. As I come across more, I’ll add to the list!
Note: These are commissioned links that cost you nothing, but help me!
Yeti Ramble 14 oz.
I love these mugs because when I sit down to crochet, I usually have to get about about 83,498,234 times before I feel comfortable. With a normal cup of coffee, I only get a few sips in before it gets cold. With this mug, my coffee is still hot after 3 hours! And maybe seriously, maybe jokingly, I kinda sorta want to own every single color this mug has to offer.

Update January 23: These are currently on sale so run!!
My Fave Mocassins
I wear my Minnetonka Women’s Cally Faux Fur Slippers out. You can always find them on my feet while I’m crocheting, or on the floor so I can slip them on while I pour myself another cup of coffee. Ugh, the softness and comfortability is real! 10/10 recommend if you’re about that cozy life like I am.

Candleberry Candle
I’m not even joking when I say that this is the only type of candle I burn. Ever. Candleberry is a KY candle company that makes the most wholesome, best smelling candles ever. My particular favorite is their Hot Maple Toddy. I’ve been obsessed with this candle for years. I have this scent’s tart warmers, car fresheners, and all different sizes of candles. It’s like my signature smell. When I want a calm night in I light a couple of these bad boys and relax.

My Puppy Nearby
So if you know me, you guys know that I love my dog, Brady. For those of you who don’t let their dogs, on the couch, you’d be aghast to know I’m at my happiest when he’s sitting next to me while I crochet. Sometimes I even beg him to settle on the couch next to me while I’m having a cozy night in. Though I never let him get near my projects for customers, I never have to worry about him stinking up the couch! I use this Chi–yes as in hair product Chi— dog deodorizer on his fur. Who knew they made an amazing spray for dogs? The best part? One bottle lasts forever! I just spritz him a couple of times throughout the week and he smells as cute as he looks!
Got a fur baby too? Find the deodorizing spray here!
Favorite Crochet Hook
My dad has said that I talk about Furls Odyssey crochet hooks like they are “The Cadillac of all crochet hooks.” And he’s actually right! Although recently Furls just discontinued their gold-tipped crochet hook, these hooks are the prettiest hooks I’ve ever owned. Even better, they crochet like a dream. The hooks are slightly weighted, so if you crochet using the “knife hold” you’re going to make up the project a lot faster. I love these because like the Yeti mugs, they come in all sorts of beautiful colors and designs. White and silver are my absolute fave!

My Favorite Yarn Bowl
This was actually a Christmas gift and I love it! I love Rosewood and my cotton projects fit in here perfectly. It’s just so beautiful to look at and it helps keep my yarn from tangling.
You can find it here!
