Hello, lovelies!
Last week I shared what makes me feel happiest and content (my Hygge).
This week, I thought I should add to that list this easy peasy dishcloth pattern I haven’t been able to stop making. If you haven’t been reading, I occasionally get “hooked” on obsessively making projects at a time.

I used to not enjoy making dishcloths, because I couldn’t bear thinking about something I spent the time and energy on just winding up dirty. After the insistent requests for dishcloths from friends and family, though, I decided to give cleaning with a dishcloth a try.
I’m going to pause here a moment, because if you know my dislike of cleaning, then you’d know I deserve a round of applause.

To my surprise, crochet dishcloths really do make for good cleaning tools, perhaps due to the texture, the stitches create. The dishcloths I make for the boutique I sell at fly off the shelf, so others must think so too.
So, dear lovelies, I thought I would share this premium PDF pattern with you of the Basic Crochet Dishcloth…for FREE!
This finished product is a 9″ by 9″ dishcloth that makes up quickly and is a great short project for markets and last-minute gifts. People love them!
Like all of my patterns, it comes with a stitch photo tutorial, step-by-step directions that are perfect for beginners, and author notes/tips for making the dishcloth. With many of my patterns, I also try to include a printable.

When designing this particular printable, I was inspired by my logo and the rustic, farmhouse vibe I got from actually using these dishcloths while cleaning. (Seriously, someone give me an award for cleaning the baseboards of my craft room.) It is perfect to print on cardstock, cut, and wrap up your dishcloths with!
Or click here, for just the printable!
I also wanted to remind my readers that when you subscribe to my email list, get an instant 50% coupon off of a single premium pattern from my Etsy & Ravelry store! If you enjoy this pattern, please consider checking out my other premium patterns, ranging from beginner-friendly to intermediate level!
Happy making y’all!
